That time-honoured RAKIM quotable, it ain't where your from but where your at,
certainly rings true for Cardiff-based deejay and emcee combo Keltech and Johnny
B. Firstly, grouping them among the Stereophonics sounding artists from cool
Cymru should not apply because this Hip-Hop duo deliver far superior beats and
rhymes. Unlike many of their contemporaries - be they US, UK or wherever - on
'The Name' these Welsh boyos have managed to create an album that rocks
throughout all its 17 tracks. Keltech proves that by dividing his time creating
spellbinding drum & bass and Hip-Hop puts him among the upper ranks of UK
producers like SKITZ and ADAM F.In essence, this album cotains comedy, pathos,
dope rhymes and classy beats to spare. So to end this review as these Welsh Two
Ronnies may have put it, diolch and nos da.
